We are saddened to hear of the passing of Wayne Bickerton at the weekend. Wayne was a renowned songwriter who has served as Chairman and Acting Chief Executive of PRS in the 1990s.

With Tony Waddington, he produced and wrote 9 top 50 hits for The Rubettes and won an Ivor in 1976. He was A&R Chief at Polydor and later on Chair of SESAC International. These are just a few of his achievements over his long career.
