I’m Annie Paterson, the Welfare Officer at the PRS Memebers Fund since July. To those of you I have met so far, a big ‘thank you’ for making me so welcome, and the same to my colleagues and members of the Committee.

I have come into the Fund with over two decades of welfare experience as both volunteer and staff, largely within the military sector, and remain a volunteer case worker for, among others, the Royal British Legion – so have effectively swapped the military for music!

I was a Dental Hygienist for 30 years (which helps with looking at grants for any private or cosmetic dentistry). I left in 2005 to work in the Charity Sector.

I have extensive experience in benefits and specific areas of health and social care and will enjoy bringing this knowledge to the Fund.
