As a PRS member one-to-one counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and other services may also be available.
The helpline is available to the entire music industry and can be accessed by musicians regardless of their membership status. Additionally, PRS members of 7 years or those who have earned £500 in royalties are eligible for one-to-one therapeutic sessions.

Dr Pete Glenister, PRS Members’ Fund trustee
“Music Minds Matter will help point PRS members towards appropriate treatment and support and if necessary, fund that treatment and support. We hope this collaboration will give members the tools they need to help themselves going forward.”
Sarah Woods, Interim Chief Executive, Help Musicians
“We are so pleased to collaborate with the PRS Members’ Fund to ensure Music Minds Matter’s therapeutic support is funded for members seeking help. Sadly, we’re seeing rising need for mental health support at scale in the music industry, illustrating the importance of this partnership to ensure people get the help they need. We would like to extend our thanks to the PRS Members’ Fund for working with us to make a difference to the mental health of those working in the music industry.”

“Things are tangibly different now, because I have regained my confidence, I have got back into making music in a very productive way and enjoy myself again, which is really where it’s at!”
