Protecting your health and wellbeing in creative workspaces

We know that looking after your mental wellbeing is vital to creativity — especially when your work, income and workspace can feel unpredictable.

The music industry is full of uncertainty. One minute you could be riding high; the next, facing writer’s block, a quiet patch, or the pressure of not knowing what comes next.

Life as an independent music creator can mean touring, living out of a suitcase, spending long days in studios, moving between venues night after night, and never knowing what your next job will be or how your next composition, project or opportunity will land. That uncertainty can cause stress and anxiety, which can be debilitating and stifle creativity.

Join us for an hour on Thursday 8 October to explore practical tools to help you stay resilient, grounded and well when work — and your workplace — feels uncertain.

Brought to you in association with our partners BAPAM and facilitated by Tiffany Hudson of Therapy on Tour, this event will focus on taking care of your wellbeing when your workplace is the road, a venue or the studio. It’s designed to offer support, headspace and practical strategies to help you look after yourself before life gets too loud.

It’s completely free and open to all PRS members.
