As the PRS Members’ Fund continues its vital mission to support the health, financial security, and holistic wellbeing of music creators, our strength relies on the diverse perspectives and expertise guiding our leadership. In this edition of our Meet Our People series, we are absolutely delighted to introduce our newest Trustee, Zoë Collins.

Bringing a powerful blend of senior Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) leadership alongside a personal, deeply rooted connection to the grassroots music scene, Zoë joins the Board of Trustees at a pivotal moment for the charity.

Bridging Corporate Strategy and Creative Livelihoods

Zoë is a senior DE&I professional with over five years of high-level leadership experience, including operating at Head of DEI level. Her extensive background is firmly grounded in core HR practice – spanning inclusive recruitment frameworks, employment policy development, and data-led strategic insights.

Known for guiding complex, multi-stakeholder environments through meaningful organisational change, Zoë also holds a Prosci Change Management certification. She currently leads DE&I across the EMEA region for a global consumer goods company, having previously lent her inclusion expertise to leading organisations across the technology, fashion, consultancy, and music sectors.

Yet, what makes Zoë uniquely positioned to champion the welfare of our community is her dual perspective. Alongside her corporate achievements, she is an independent British-Nigerian singer-songwriter hailing from South London. She understands firsthand the unpredictable nature, unique pressures, and immense dedication required to sustain a contemporary creative career.

Her appointment aligns seamlessly with the Fund’s commitment to expanding its reach, ensuring our support frameworks are robust, equitable, and accessible to creators from all backgrounds and musical genres.

By combining her structural HR knowledge with an authentic understanding of the challenges independent songwriters face, Zoë is poised to help shape progressive policies that protect the livelihoods, mental health, and housing security of PRS members when they need it most.
