Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area. The PRS Members’ Fund stands ready to support PRS members during this challenging time.
LA Emergency Relief Fund
PRS Members’ Fund is offering short-term disaster relief to PRS members impacted by the fires. This includes:
– $1,500 in financial assistance for evacuation-related costs (hotel/accommodation and transport supplies)
– $500 For food and clothing.
Additional support is available for individuals with significant needs, such as medical issues, or longer-term relocation requirements.
Eligibility:
– You’re a registered member since 2018
– Be resident in an evacuation zone according to PRS records.

Mental Health Support
MusiCares provides financial aid and referrals for mental health services. Email [email protected]
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) offers free resources, including substance use services and mental health provider referrals.
The National Child Traumatic Stress Network provides resources to help parents support children in coping with disasters.
The Good Inside offers sample scripts for discussing the fires with children.

211LA (Greater Los Angeles Wildfires | 211LA) includes regularly updated information on the size of the fires, evacuation orders and warnings, school closures and power outages.
