Giving Tuesday 2022

November 29, 2022

Happy Giving Tuesday to you! Together, today we can do something amazing to support PRS members and their families in time of need.

Giving Tuesday is a day when people and organisations from all over the world come together to support the causes and communities that mean so much to us all.

2022 has been a challenging year for so many. Whether recovering from the impact of the COVID pandemic, witnessing the war in Ukraine and its implications, or feeling the bite of the cost of living crisis with the pressure of rising bills and inflation, we know that this means that many music creators are having a hard time.

We are asking those who can support us to make a difference to PRS songwriters and composers by donating to the PRS Members’ Fund. 100% of donations go towards grants for our beneficiaries.

There are different ways to support us, you can:

  • Give Time: check our website and find out how we help PRS members and our achievements.

  • Give voice: go on YouTube by clicking here and watch our success stories of members whose lives we have helped change.

  • Give Money: click here to make a one-off amount or a regular donation to ensure PRS members get the support they need. If you want to find other ways to donate click here.

  • Give skills: register on our JustGiving page here and discover fundraising ideas you can get involved with.

  • Share our mission: the Fund provides a safety net for members in times of crisis. So please help us spread the word.

John Logan, General Secretary, PRS Members’ Fund, added: “With the challenges that everyone has felt this year, there is a greater need for the services the Fund offers. The PRS Members’ Fund has provided support to songwriters and composers for over 80 years and we’re proud that we can continue to do so throughout this incredibly trying time”.

Since Giving Tuesday is all about the power of social media and collaboration, and we would love it if you could share how you are supporting us on your own social media channels. Don’t forget to tag us @prsfund and @GivingTuesdayUK and use the hashtags #GivingTuesday. Together we can make generosity go viral.

From everyone here at the PRS Members’ Fund, thank you for your continuing support on Giving Tuesday and every other day.
