PRS Members’ Fund Rebrand Press Release

You may have noticed something different about us? After months of hard work, we have finally created our new identity, which includes a change of name, a new logo and colours and a refreshed website. Our rebranding reflects the Fund’s growth, and more importantly, embraces the introduction of new services as the needs of PRS songwriters and composers change.

You’ll see the new look on our website, on our social media channels Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and our new printed materials.

We have reverted to our former name PRS Members’ Fund. We have widened the range of support services on offer. We have launched new partnerships to support qualifying PRS members who are experiencing difficult times. We converted from a Trust to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, which was registered with the Charity commission on 24th January 2019 (1181735), changing our legal status as a body of Trustees.

Our core values and mission remain the same: we understand that the career of a music creator can be very erratic, especially at a psychological and financial levels. We are here to support PRS songwriters and composers, the creative force at the heart of this industry, for it has often been said that it all starts with the song.

We believe that the new look reflects how far we have progressed to provide a comprehensive support network for songwriters and composers that struggle with financial, physical and mental health problems, debt and accommodation needs.

We hope you like this new look and feel for PRS Members’ Fund! Look out for more updates as we continue to try to better serve PRS members.

John Logan,
General Secretary
